We are a group of artists from Rome that hand painting paschal candles. When we start in ’70 the tradition of painted paschal candles was almost disappeared. In Rome, capital of christianity, nearly all religious shops and chandleries sold platic candles with printed images. Only one famous chandlery “Pisoni”, situated in largo S.Andrea della Valle, until the end of ’70 sold pure wax paschal candles hand painted. We painted candles further over the years and thanks to the rediscovery of the easter vigil by neocathecumenal way, the tradition ino Neocatecumenale, si è recuperata la tradizione del cero dipinto con i simboli della Resurrezione.
